ABOUT ME

My name is Alexa Arteaga. I am a 21-year-old senior Health Education and Behavior major with a specialization in Community Health Promotion and a minor in Anthropology. I am also enrolled in a combination degree program wherein I am also pursuing a master’s degree in health education as well. This summer, I attended a study abroad program through my university. Through this program, I completed the courses HSC4624 Trends in International Health and HSC 6935 Culture and Health. Taking these courses during my abroad experience really helped me in developing my global health philosophy.
